hi guys, something i found on the AA website, you might all be aware of it but you select the country and it gives the list of all the toll roads in that county.

Good information.

Typical though... does not give prices for bikes... what a surprise!

I figured it would be cheaper for bikes but take that as a maximum. Less than i thought for the tolls to be honest

Moderators: Is it worth making this a sticky?

Route planners, e.g., Via Michelin also give these, by section, but again for cars. When I did my trip, along most of them, bikes paid about 1/3 of the car price. Some, there was no difference. And, very few were free for bikes.

In the link, Montblanc tunnel comes in at 32 euros; bikes paid in September 25 euros single or 28 euros return.

In France it seemed to be half price on all the ticket/kiosk autoroutes.

I've noticed a few times as I roll up the display said something like 4.80 euros before the operator pushed a button to change it to half the amount.

make note:

If you're using the toll autoroutes in France, it can be VERY convenient to use the automated Credit card booths: However, these charge car rates.

Much cheaper to spend a bit more time, and go to an attended kiosk and faf about with money.

Probably for that section until you hit the next toll booth.

Just to add, on French toll roads you sometimes get bike only lanes (they are only wide enough for a bike and usually at the right hand side of the road. They are automated and very quick.

As feef wrote, do not use the car autotolls as you will pay around double (if not more).
