Yup! Thumbs Up

The Mrs' GSX went there for a service a couple of weeks ago, She'd been having a few problems with it, and it was about due. She phoned round a few places and was impressed that the guy was the only person she spoke to who didn't treat her like She was a retard (including a number of bigger places who should have some kind of customer service skills). The guy (Andy I think) was fast, reasonable, kept in touch and communicated well. Her bike runs sweet as a nut now, and after payday I'm gonna take Him mine.

I'd not heard of them, but am certainly intrigued by a well-recommended local workshop. Do we have contact details for me to stick in my files for future use?

address: APC Motor Services
314 Eastcote Lane
Harrow
HA2 9AH

telephone:
020 84233122

Just called them. The guy name is Andy and he seems quite helpful. Had decided that I am not going to invest my money in Colin collins anymore and hence my bike is off to APC Thumbs Up The guy in the workshop used to work with colin collins before Twisted Evil
Hope this be a better experience! Praying

Is that the one just around the corner from rook's heath? I was told that that place was pretty good too. There's not too many decent bike mechanics in harrow/edgware mind.

Find out what this Andy's surname is, I knew an Andy who used to be a mechanic at Colin Collins years ago, I'm talking around 12 years ago, when they used to have a shop in Wippendell Road in Watford.

Thumbs Up

I've used them before to change a cam chain tensioner on my old CBR the guys that work there are quite good. The main guy Andy is very good and another guy called Lee who used to be the only good mechanic Colin Colins ever had.

Also Dew you might want to keep giving Colin Colins a go about getting the stuff repaired. Someone has bought the company (god know why?) and the Harrow branch is the only one to remain open according to my friend. I don't think they have any mechanics though as they were all layed off.

Thx guys!
I arranged to get my bike picked up from colin collins through them. I visited the shop on saturday and apparently they have changed the name to swallows (or something similar) Exclamation
The mechanic Lee had left the shop (on friday) and I couldn't get hold of Andy. I will talk to him later today and hopefully Twisted Evil get my bike sorted!
I will keep you posted! Twisted Evil

Andy says he works on bike himself and sounded reasonable over the phone. I am hoping to get estimate from him today! Twisted Evil
