nsr125 air filter hose

air filter hose has come off from air filter on my nsr 125 on the far end.where does this connect too.is it difficult,its causing sluggish start/smoke

Agreed, I think he means the rubber connector between the box and the carb?

ai thats the one.its a blue rubber hose.its connected to the filter box in front but nothing else.where and how can i get this connected.im very worried on this one.is it possible to drive like this without fucking the engine up

It sounds like you still have it there, and it's just disconnected. It sits on the top of the carb in a kind of backwards position, but if you don't connect it to the air box properly this will cause smoke (1st hand experience). You need to open the air box top and pull the rubber connector through and you'll see the seals.
Don't attempt to ride it about without fixing this as the engine isn't getting the right air mix it needs and will fuck it up!

i drove it areadt a couple of miles earlier but not since.how do i get it into the carb.not a great view man.

Really mate you need to pull the tank off the bike, then remove the airfilter box, place the rubber back into the airbox as it should go then gently place the rubber back over the carb, tighten the jubilie clip, secure the airbox and put the tank back on.

why take the tank off moony?is this hard?if i left it on can you still not get to the carb.is there a slot in the carb for this hose to go

now , i know what you are talking about . the shape of the air box cover make a bowl in front on top . water can accumulate in it , this why they put a plastic blue pipe to keep it empty and the pipe guide the water out of the electrics
