Some cop's are great......other's not so nice just like people in all other occupation's. Just look what the police have to deal with..........
Best of Police Blotters 4/11/2006
From Buffalo, N.Y
A man walked out of a Military Road bowling alley with a full glass of beer and proceeded to walk home. Police stopped him, only to find that the glass wasn't filled with beer, but a fluid of similar color.
A Depew resident reported that four suspicious adults with children were in the area, ringing doorbells. Police determined the suspects to be Jehovah's Witnesses.
A Lancaster man reported that his upset girlfriend ran along the side of his moving vehicle and stabbed the rear passenger tire, then tried to smash the side window with a golf club. The man was able to wrestle the club away from the woman, who then fled the scene.
[author's note: I think I dated this woman. Didn't know she moved to Buffalo.]
A male was reportedly yelling and screaming obscenities in his Randolph Avenue driveway. Police reported he actually was trying to rap. |

Oh I dont know. I know the family who run mine, they know where I live and sort me out my duty free. Called a sense of community.

Did you choose to live there? If you did then good for you, but I’m not really interested in that filth ridden hell hole……and you talk of it being hard there, well you’re certainly giving it a good name. I’ve done it before, and no it’s not for me.
|
Yes I do choose to live here.
It's hard, its rough and its nasty but its my home. When the fuck have YOU lived in central London?
| killa wrote: |
Sorry what?
When did I do this?

Weren't you the bloke who left a club and watched an acquaintance get his head kicked in and didn't bother calling the Police?

Come on, you said you’re the man, I’m the boy, so fucking talk like one, make some sense, put a point across will you.
I’m not talking ‘gansta’ you prick, Cheltenham isn’t a filth pit, so I apologise for it not being in the same league as your home, at least learn a little more about a place before you start expelling faeces from your trap.
| sickpup wrote: | I know the family who run mine, they know where I live and sort me out my duty free. Called a sense of community. |
Great, so do I, and they sell out of date food and gay porn. What’s your point?
Again, you don’t have one.
| sickpup wrote: | It's hard, it’s rough and its nasty but it’s my home. When the fuck have YOU lived in central London? |
London was a place I lived in once to, and no it wasn’t central London, but that’s not the point, I know what it’s like, and I moved.
And trying to get back on topic old timer, I had less hassle from cops in London then I have done in Cheltenham.
The original point I put across was that if you haven’t been a victim of crime yourself more than once, or had property stolen more than once, you have no idea how fucking useless the pigs are.
| sickpup wrote: | Weren't you the bloke who left a club and watched an acquaintance get his head kicked in and didn't bother calling the Police? |
No, but thanks for asking you senile old fool.

Yep I am a man. Cheltenham has no mean streets so stop pretending it has. You try and talk like an inner city boy when you live in this nice little city where life is good

My point is I may have been dragged up in a shithole considered the most crime ridden area in the UK but at least I have a sense of community and give a fuck about the people and area where I live.

Where in London?
You were a very small fish in a very big pond. Probably wouldn't have said boo to a goose either. The MET aren't known for being a soft force.
You realise 'Old timer' is a mark of respect?

And the Police will continue to be useless without the help of the people, you included. Remember that point.
Oh and victim of crime once or twice and helped out a few times as an appropriate adult at Hammersmith Police station.

I’m still trying to understand why you think this is a good point you’re making………
I’m not trying to talk like anything, I say you live a filth pit, you agree, but you know some local foreigners and you don’t rob them.
Ok, picture a non desirable place, and replace it with my example of a corner shop, problem solved.
| sickpup wrote: | You were a very small fish in a very big pond. Probably wouldn't have said boo to a goose either. The MET aren't known for being a soft force. |
Ok, so I didn’t live slap bang in the middle of the place and didn’t pick fights with everyone, but seriously, I know what I’m talking about.
| sickpup wrote: | So I'm senile and you forgot...
This thread |
Ah, I did forget it, perhaps because the guy meant nothing to me and he was already being helped by far too many people.
There is a thing called crowding you know.
If you’re trying to put me down as someone who’d leave a mate being beaten up, you’re very much mistaken.
| sickpup wrote: | And the Police will continue to be useless without the help of the people, you included. Remember that point. |
So you finally get back to the point I was making.
The police are useless even when the fucking people help them, so yeah I can imagine they fuck up loads of other things when they haven’t got us, point out the criminals, giving them a location of stolen goods. ____________________ Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.

Noticed, how 'The Emergency Services', generally (like when you call 999, the operator gives all 3 options) covers police, fire and ambulance?, they all have their fair share of good's and bad's, but only the police are referred to as a force being not so good sometimes, where is the insulting of the latter forces?
Fair point, they don't pull you over for stuff, and hand out fines etc, but at the end of the day, they do deserve credit, but rarely seem to be given it. ____________________ Roger wrote: Women don't get damp for clingy puppies. The reason this is going on longer than it should is because this is what you believe , I’ve probably been involved with the police more than yourself, unless you work with them, and that hasn’t been because I’m the one vandalising and ‘not helping’, it’s because I’ve been a victim of crime, or trying to help someone who is/was.
Why do you keep saying things which aren’t true, this is what gets me, you tell me what I’ve done, when you don’t actually know.
And the incident with the kid being kicked in wasn’t my fault, he was already being helped by people.
My opinion on the police has come from this experience Sickpup, and seriously, if you want me to type every event so far so you’ll stop talking shit, then I will.
| sickpup wrote: | You've still managed to avoid saying where in London you lived... |
Sittingbourne Kent, and this grotty area
No not central and defiantly not as upper class as Cheltenham, lol, the reason you’re not hassled by the cops there is because they don’t fucking police it. Cheltenham’s easy to police. ____________________ Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.

In my opinion, if you're a great copper, by that I mean professional, hard working, able to apply the law fairly and you don't unnecessarily prevent law abiding citizens from continuing with their lives, then most decent people would refer to you as a police officer, a copper, perhaps even a bizzy.(remember that)
I have only ever heard criminals, youngsters (and perhaps a few relatively decent folk who have met the wrong copper having a bad day) refer to police officers as filth, fuzz, pigs or bla[censored] (in films).
As for,"well if you don't like being called a pig, get another job", well it may sound silly and childish, but there is a point to that. It reminds me of my days as a fireman, we were told "if your not happy walking into a burning building when everyone else is ruinning away from it, choose another career". And earlier, when joining the forces we were told "if you dont like the idea of someone try to shoot you dead, leave now". That's life.
So coppers choose to put themselves in a position where most people will accept them and others will hate them. They must accept it, simple as. I'm sure most of them do accept it and sleep well at night.
Personally I have mixed feelings about the police. I know a few who are professional, hard working, able to apply the law fairly and you don't unnecessarily prevent law abiding citizens from continuing with their lives, I have respect for them.
Then there are others who are just in it for the pay. |
