Time of year

Hey

Aint been back for a while. But I am looking to sell my 2 motorbikes this year, soonest really.

I was wondering what time of year the bike prices pick up for me to get maximum value for my bikes!

I was thinking February/March kind of time. But have not really purchased a bike at that time of year. So I thought I would call in the ''experts'' thats yo guys by the way.

Anyone reccomend a good place to sell a bike, and also a good time of year to sell a bike. Or even better, anyone after a '04 Hornet or a '96 RVF??

How weird!? Last night I was just thinking to myself where you had got too. Nice to know you are still about. Why you selling the bikes mate? How did the court case go? Haven't seen you on MSN for ages.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it?s worth.

IMO the 'season' starts at the Easter bank holiday and ends after the last August one.

So if selling I'd get bikes advertised just before Easter as afterwards there's likely to be shedloads come on the market.

That said just before August is also a good time as people tend to get tired or just want a change to what they've been riding through summer.

Just my thoughts of course. Price still depends on condition, sex appeal (of the bike naturally) and what else is on offer in your area.

Found guilty of careless driving. 3points, small fine, and licence revoked for having 6 points.

So I went away to do an intensee driving course, and after that was done purchased a fiesta zetec T reg motor.

Aint really been on, just been putting quality time with the missus, and the car helps greatly with that.

The bikes were more for getting in and out of work, and busses were used a lot, so a car was the right compromise. So when I have sold the bikes I will be passing my test again, and get a nce track R6 or alike!! How about you Jon? Life treating you well?

You and the missus still going strong?
