I just taught someone a harsh lesson.

I had just exited a roundabout, in lane 2 of a 2 lane dual carrage way through a residential area, travelling at 30mph, chilling, enjoying the cornering abilities of the bandit. I noticed a group of 25 - 30 little neds about 100 yards down the road as i was cranked over in my turn, so i did'nt open the throttle on the exit, as i expected something was going to happen.

So anyway, exited turn, chilling at 30, clear roads, when two of the group started to run towards me, one lad about 5ft, one bitch about 6ft, eye eye, ere we go. Opened the throttle to pass them by, but they had reached the middle of lane one, and by the time i would have passed them, they would have been in my path...........so..............

lad took a swing, missed, bitch took a swing, and was in my path, so i threw the bike over to the right, and lifted my foot off the peg in an almost lance like manner. WOP. Size nines connect with her knee, she still swings and hits my mirror. The bandit laughed and carried on in a straight line, without even twitching.

I decided to slow down, and maybee stop so as not to leave the scene, but the other 20 little fuckers were already on there way over, so i just booted it off.

Decided I'd better tell the plod, who told me that i was 100% correct not to have stopped, and said that i was the wronged party and would try to sort it out.

Lesson learned? I hope so, some other biker wont fall victim to this particular bitches stupidity.Size nines plus 30mph plus a handfull of horsepower = owwwwwwwww.

come to think of it, wasn't this sort of thing mentioned in the MCN not long ago?

rant over

snappy

Aye there was an article in MCN recently about jumping infront of bikes being the new happyslapping. If some scum jumped out infront of me and i had the choice of avoiding him and maybe binning the bike in the process or just hitting him, i'd hit the arsehole. I'll be fine, he'll be less well off.

You made the right choice, hope you broke her leg tbh.

It makes you wonder what the fuck is wrong with these people. Why would they want to obstruct a motorcyclists path? To rob the bike? To mug the rider? To cause an accident?

They are stupid idiots.

you know, it would'nt suprise me in the slightest if a new film called 'girl argues with biker' or ' bandit basher' appeared on youtube. There were plenty of the swines who could have had their phone cams working.

"Decided I'd better tell the plod, who told me that i was 100% correct"....

This is what it's all about. Right or slightly wrong, if YOU call the police first, generally, you are 'in the right'.

Now if she had called the police first, I reckon you may have been arrested, after all, her story would have been quite different to reallity and her witnesses would have backed her up.

Its the only way that these shits can have power over you ( or so they think ) Most normal people would slow down if they saw someone crossing and thats what they want you to do, It gave them power for that short time. They know that if you do hit them then they will get compo and you will get into trouble so they have nothing to loose. Notice that they only do it on 20-30 mph roads and not the motorway. I had that problem with the local kids, they would be stood talking to each other but as soon as they saw me comming they would have towalk across the road slowly as soon as I had gone past they would walk back again. they would do tis infront of their parents. Now I give it a hand full of throttle and make it look like I'm about to speed up ( but keep it down ) and move towards them. Caught my kids copying so stopped therand then and gave them such a yelling about being stupid and the highway code andsafety to others right infront of the other kids and parents. Most have got the message now.

I'd of done the same thing, chavs very often try and get you to slow or stop, then try and get on your bike, friend had it happen to him, he slowed to a crawl approaching them when popped a wheelie (which was pretty good) and they parted like water, I just tootled behind on my 125 Embarassed

It makes me wonder too. I know I wouldnt want to get in the path of a biker. Bike + Person only one will get hurt. Around here there are a few neds, they tend to hit th button for the lights as you approch. I either slow right down and stop a fair distance if its clear behind me, or If im close enough I carry on going providing its clear either way.

I always carry a screw driver now after a guy ran up to my bike when i was at the lights in town one night a few weeks ago and startled me.

If some chavs want a biker to react, i would want to blind them.

Glad you're alright.

well, on upper brook street manchester quite a lot of uni building works going on so the place is swarming with workman, I was in the 3 lane part of the road going towards city centre, 2 workman they sort of jogged across the first 2 lanes where cars were approaching and (im in the rh lane) they started walking at a leasurely pace when they were on my lane (I guess they didn see my lil CG) so just as there was 4 - 5 m to go ( I wasnt going to hit them, had room to my left) I pulled my clutch it and revved the gutsy 125 and they ran off the road and it made me chuckle... ah well...
i met a chav once and very nearly hit him, he was crossing the road without looking with his hands behind his head as if we was laying down on the floor, was about 10 - 12, he appeard clearly stoned to me...the amount of stupid people is currently on the rise, cant blame one thing really, parents, parents parents, schools, the social scene theyre in etc etc etc it goes on and on...

I can, this PC mustn't harm the poor darlings, lets consult the little cherrubs, let them feel valued. UTTER CRAP. A good sharp smack when it is needed not this , lets understand the route cause of the issue and have a little chat. Caught my kids being chavs just the once, they will not be doing it again. Yes I believe in human rights, but you have to learn your human responsabilities first before you can get your rights.

Like this gun culture in Manchester now. because we are too pc we wont go after the profiled type who will commit these crimes, we will have meetings with the "community" other wise known in any other societies as the mouthiest gobs on the street who want their own way. Let the Law do its job and then human rights will be protected.
Sorry for the rant, hold that, no I'm not sorry for the rant, I'm just sorry that I had a reason to rant.

I aim for people. I really do. If anyone crosses the road infront of me, and i feel they have mis-judged my speed, i will try and kill them. They don't normally realise it untill i redline it towards them. They run quick enough once they realise i want their head above my mantle piece, but they just don't expect me to have the reaction that i have.

Next time you see some stupid twat in the road, do your best to kill them. They know the risks, let them take them and lose.

You did the right thing completely Thumbs Up I suppose its a do or die situation, if you'd stopped they would have mobbed you, in that situation I'd rather have hit them at speed rather than stop and be a sitting duck.

Do they brew up before getting their slippers on and walking off?

In seriousness though, reading the original thread riled me, I HATE things like that... WHAT are they trying to achieve? It's stuff like that that makes me want to carry some form of weapon to smash across their face whilst riding past.

Retards, some people really are Evil or Very Mad

Maybe pulling the clutch in and slowing down a bit so the engine goes quiet and then revving it to the redline with the clutch in might create a brown trouser situation

(it works for the 20 or so school kids who then dive into the bushes) Shifty Whistle

See now the rise in little twats like this is why the film Idiocracy isn't so far fetched.

Country is going to rats shit, we all know it, it's time to get out to be honest!

Our government is just too afraid we may upset someone, these chavs commit crime constantly and nothing ever happens. Police have very little power against them, and the stupid courts take pity on them.

Chavs, criminals, etc, don't fear the police anymore, and why should they! IMO police are forced to be soft and cuddly, people should be intimidated by police presence!

Glad you came out on top, and I hope they did follow up and attend A&E.

Reminds me of a story my dad told me from when he was in the army, he had a friend who was attacked by four blokes, so he got in his car and ran them over! The police came, said he was the one in the right, half because there were so many of them, and asked him if he wanted to press charges on the guys! He let them off, haha. Good times in the 70s!
