She damaged someones property (their car), ran away from the police when approched and when she resisted arrest the cop gave her a few forearm smashes to get her under control.
anyone see a problem here?
https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/south_yorkshire/6428865.stm
i'd have been happy if he gave her a proper beating and saved himself the paperwork of an arrest and the cost of dragging her junky ass through court wasting tax payers money |

I saw that last night. She says that when she was being arrested she was having an epiletic fit and not resisting arrest. But of course the nanny state requires a full investigation to see if this was a rascist and heavy handed arrest. |

"Chief Superintendent Ali Dizaei, of the National Black Police Association, also called for an investigation by the IPCC, saying it was a concern that race may have been an issue.
Shami Chakrabarti, director of human rights group Liberty, also demanded an urgent investigation into the officer's actions.
"These images turn the stomach," she said.
South Yorkshire Police said: "The force is outraged at the nature of the report itself, and the possible suggestion that this may be linked to any kind of racist incident. "
.......race isnt the issue. the issue is the silly tart kicking the cop in the bollocks and damaging other peoples property. If he had taken 3 full on punches at a femle in handcuffs theres going to be a fair bit of damage. ____________________ Current : '08 Yamaha FZ1s

I've actually taken the time to watch the video on the bbc and the Guardian sites.
I also saw it on the news this morning sat next to someone who's had home office approved restraint training. Her comment was that the punching was OTT and should not have been necessary. This is given that there were 2 other people also restraining her and another stood close by.
On whether or not she was having an epileptic fit I can't comment as video isn't clear either way. If she was then (i) the action of the police officer endangered her life and (ii) he either hasn't been trained to recognise a fit or he's saying she wasn't because then he can argue he acted correctly.
What I found worrying was that South Yorkshire police have issued a statement saying they found the handling of this incident acceptable. So they allow their officers to not follow the approved guidelines and do as they wish Then what else are they getting away with?
I'm consistent in my thoughts. As I've written in the past, the police, like caesar's wife, should be above suspicion. Anything less is not good enough and tarring those police who do the job correctly with the same stigma and distrust. So in the long run making everyone's job harder.
On any black/white/colour issue I couldn't give a toss. I find it sad some people will use this for their own agenda. I couldn't care less if the victim was male/female or blue with purple spots. ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...

Search Delbo King online and you see a black man cuffed to the ground being kicked , a passer by who remarks on the dissapproval you see is chased away by a cop.
this video is commonly availible online , google search it.
no charges against cops,

the obvious solution is this:
to give cop cameras to all cops like they trialed in Plymouth , if the video evidence goes missing INSTANT GUILT and instant charge of perverting the course of justice, to the cop , since such 'incident's occur with multiple cops , ie Delbo was 'restrained' by 5 cops , 1/5 HDD video recorders going wrong is a possibility 5 at the same time = guilt.
no video footage = illegal arrest,
With HDDs you can record ALL beat duty time , so that we do not get a situation of abuse of power, sort of like the speeding cop who was let off
or the one who went to pick up his takeaway got snapped by a camera and was let off.
the police are certainly OK about observing us why not have some reciperical surveillance,
possibly the last time I remember a cop getting charged with anything was in Bolton ages ago where he picked up a hooker , 'used her' and refused to pay. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. Bit stupid mentioning the incident in America, race hate and roits.
Again, like the cannabis inplanted in murder inquiry, it's not the direct cause of the problems, its the way in which its put across.
This white cop hit a black epileptic five times, that's what i heard, that's what's in the report.
If that woman had hit my 4x4 or something, she'd get a smack. ____________________ Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.

I read this story on BBC website this morning.
I didn't even realise she was 'black' till I came onto this thread!!!
She's black? WTF? My skin is darker than that after a bit of summer sun!!
What a load of utter bollocks over nothing. Stupid bitch deserved a dead arm, and now she dares play the 'race' card as well as the 'disabled' card?!
Saddest thing is how much the media love whipping this kind of stuff into a higher profile than it deserves. losers

I've been qualified in HO C&R for over 6 years now, and had my refresher course last week. If someone is biting or assaulting you, it means they are not under controlling locks, and you are entitled to use whatever force you deem necessary and justifiable to defend yourself.
Before anyone yacks on about the police having to expect assault as part of their job, such arguments are a load of cobbler's, and should be treated with the contempt they deserve. No-one should have to go to work expecting to get hurt or bitten, especially with the epidemic of blood-borne disease in the country today.
Using punches (they look more like chopping blows than the uppercuts suggested by the media hype) to free up the arm for cuffing is where I would be a little more wary. That said, having a drunk person lying on the floor face down puts them at risk of positional asphyxia, and thus it is imperative to get them cuffed (or in final locks) and stood up as soon as is practical.

She certainly isn't having a fit when she is standing on the stairs, because she is perfectly stable until she pulls away from the officer and they end up in a heap.

They did follow the guidelines.
A crucial factor in our C&R training is a classroom session explaining issues such as the general public not understanding the working environment that law enforcement officials are exposed to, and seeking to impose unrealistic standards on officers putting their health at risk every shift.
I've had at least 5 colleagues receive bites from detainees known or believed to have HIV/Hep./both, and spend months on anti-virals that in one case caused almost as much damage to his body as any disease might.
As a result, if you look like you are about to sink your pearly whites into me, I will do anything to stop you in your tracks.
EDIT:

Out of curiousity, why has this only been brought up now, when it happened last July? ____________________ >Soultrader Mister James, I bet you are a copper

There is a very clear lesson here for everyone to learn:
If you're epileptic, it's probably not a good idea to get off your face and then go clubbing. What with all them flashing lights and all... ____________________ "That's it. You people have stood in my way long enough. I'm going to clown college."

She is also claiming that the police officer punched her in the face and body - "red zones" I believe - whilst you can't tell where she is being hit from the footage, it is clearly in the same place each time.
Also, if it was her face and chest that was hit why is there no record of her injuries?
She just wants a new pair of creole earrings from the compensation. ____________________ Avast! Pirates ahoy!

Interestingly, the black 'race activist' who is orchestrating this complaint in the media, has just lost his appeal against being convicted of racially-motivated harassment of two white traffic wardens.

You can't see where the punch landed, so he could have just been punching her arm in order to get the cuffs on. ____________________ My Flickr |
