hi all,
took my practical yesterday and PASSED alltough i put my foot down when doing the u turn but i find nsr's hard to do very tight turns in.
The good thing is that the radio run out of battery about 10 minutes into the test so he pulled me over and said just follow me and ill watch you in my mirrors. can't get much easier than that so i didn't complain probably would have failed if it wasn't for the battery.
Now that i've passed my test i feel like customizing my bike. i have a standard De-restricted NSR R1 that top ends at about 90 (100 at a huge push) can any one suggest what to do about my exust? whats the best thing to get, bearing in mind that ill probably stick to this bike until the 2 year restricton is up.
Thanks inadvance

Nice work on the test. And thats damn lucky and easy! And I failed on my first go for footdownn on U turn
Best customisation for NSR? Sell it to someone else Seriously, your money isnt well spent really on an NSR "performance" parts etc |

hi all,
thanks for your replys.
In regards to selling my bike i dont really want to go down that road as ive only just bought it and had to get a £3000 loan from the bank
I may decide to sell it once ive completed a full year on my insurance.
Later on, is it worth me getting a 400 and restricting it or just stick with the NSR for another year? or save my money and get a 600 after the 2 year restriction?
Thanks again

danielw2599 - The legal limit, after you've passed your test, is 33 BHP. So if you bought a bigger bike you would need to have it restricted from a dealer. So look at it like this:
Ninja (full powered) 100 BHP
Ninja (restricted) 33 BHp
Something to think about if you want a bigger bike
Hope this helps
Cheers,
Will

Congrats on passing your test
If it were me, I would save my pennies until the two year restriction is up then go for something that yo can not only own, but get FULL use out of too!
