Well, you say that, but my next question was going to be does it have an outboard or inboard engine?
What hull type? Planing or displacement?
My Dad used to have a semi-cabined 18ft Hardy marine fishing boat (don't think they make them anymore) with a semi-planing hull. It had a 50hp, fixed pitch Evinrude outboard on it which was plenty of motor to get it up on the plane even with four or five people in. I don't recall him having any reliability issues whatsoever with it. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. As said already it depends on what type of boat it is. You also need to know what length shaft you need, long or short.
If it's just a basic boat like this. Then anything from 15-30hp would do the job.

Total sea fishing?.
Thank you.
It turns out that some people will drive all the way from the midlands to go fishing on the west wales coast for a few hours.
Mad.
Right, I'm off for a ride to Derby ____________________ Never contend with a man who has nothing to lose. |

my uncle was sorting a boat engine yesterday and had a lorry battery wired up. The battery exploded in his face and put a big gash under and above his eye! and burns down his arm and back! made me laugh, painful yes, funny yes, wish I had a camera yes!
on a serious note he is ok and was blasting his bike about today, think he's gonna stick to them from now on lol |
