Nice day yesterday, so I took the gixxer to work.

Lunch break, quick spin down Morestead. Heading up to a blind right hand corner, I position myself to the left of my side of the road.

Volvo comes round said corner on my side of the road. I shit myself.
Volvo hits my mirror, which smashes glass into my face and chips my tank. Lovely.

I shook all the shit out of my helmet, found the closest place to turn around and went back the other way. He'd already fucked off

I was nearly wiped out by a volvo dirver a while back.

I was sat at a lights controlled junction a fairly complicated one at that (the A4174 to Filton Avenue junction opposite side from the King George pub for u brizzle types).

I was in a left turn only lane. But as the lights went yellow i made a cursory glance to the right. Nothing there, so as the light went green i pulled away gently.

Out onto the A4174, just turning left, and to my horror a Green volvo estate was bearing down on me, I had to swerve hard which is not easy on an FJ1200.

The driver and passenger both red faced, they were that close i could see them, both did the "I cant see you I Pretend you dont exist, look straight ahead" routing. I chased them up the A4174 till the abbey wood roundabout where strangely they realised you had to stop at red lights. I then vandalised the car with some relish. They continued to ignore me.

just an idea, but if you were riding in a town then you can goto the police and ask them to check the cctv footage from the towns cameras. Even if there is no council camera the chances are there might be a shop or club with a cam that caught his plate/the incident etc.

That's a situation where I'm not sure if you were very unlucky or very lucky to get away with your life.

It's appauling that he didn't stop, he wouldn't have known if you'd come off or not.
You should report it, you never know he/she might be found out. The volvo was probably also damaged.
