Hello!

Its time to sell my old RS - after it sitting in my gfs garage for months with me thinking it was a non-runner, spent a couple of hours working and its running fine.

Problems:
Looks VERY tatty - one fairing got stolen, other fell off while riding (still got it but it is scratched) front fairing held on with gaffa tape (old school!)
Back brake caliper has siezed, though we got movement in the pistons so can probably get it working, BUT back disc looks well rusted
speedo cable broke just as I put it away.

on the other hand:
engines fine, with rebuild at 18k km
only 19k km on clock
MOTted and taxed till june or thereabouts

What should I do? try and get the little faults etc. ironed out or just sell it on ASAP?
What price would I ask for it?

TBH it doesnt sound like its worth much in current condition Thumbs Up

prolly not a lot tbh.

Your best bet might be to go around the scrappies and look for some better fairings, then give the bike some serious TLC before selling it.

Most people know that RS125s are prone to falling apart, so no-one's going to buy yours in that state.

£500-£800 im guessing

watch the ones on ebay for a bit to see what they go for

rs125's are not prone to falling apart

they just go bang if you dont give them rebuilds, and this one has had a rebuild
