You don't "need" to blip the throttle to down shift, with a new rider that may be giving them too much to think about.
Just left the clutch out at a medium pace, then when you have the speed and confidence for back wheel hopping to be an issue then worry about blipping it. ____________________ My Flickr |

Hi Mate, I assume u r talking about low cc 2 stroke single,
They can be a right bitch when u r trying to keep up with ur mates on the twisties.
What I used to do was before coming into the corner was - off the gas, handful of front, step on the back and slam down couple of cogs and you can bounce the bitch into the corner, then u can get on the gas sooner and concentrate on getting the c*nt back in the powerband..
Obviously I don’t recommend that for newbie because even with my natural born ability and superier talent I ate road dirt several times with this maneuver.
