Hi

I was driving down the A38 towards Droitwitch/Bromsgrove. When 3 cars ahead i noticed a green Ford KA had its reversing light on when doing 50mph Shocked .

So when we stoped at the next set of traffic lights. I Filtered up beside the car. Knocked on the drivers side window, the driver turned his head and his face said it all Shocked. I had a little giggle to my self because his reaction was priceless Laughing . I pointed out that his reverse light was on since Junction 6. He said thanks and he let me past where I shot off on my way.

The whole helping him out made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside . Dance!

Matt

Only if you do something insignificant that most people would do without a second thought ever again for the rest of their life, but then post it on the internet to gain some kind of net-respect.

To be fair, I dont think matthab is trying to gain any 'net respect' here. Its just a post about something that happened on a ride which, a lot of people use the forum for. Of course, some posts are more interesting than others but dont bash the guy about it.

Today, letting some one know of a small electrical problem. Tomorrow stopping for a biker who has had a big get off and needs emergency medical treatment.

Warm and fuzzy (to a point where you need to post about it) for advising a motorist his reverse lights were on? I've lost count of the amount of times I've told people their brake lights were out, indicators left on, door still open etc and don't feel the need to post for the world to know about.

Maybe it's just me, but this thread is about as exciting as one of DonTony's.

It's called making conversation. If you were in a group face to face little bits like this would creep into the conversation and lead to bigger points ........................ like the standard of vehicle maintainance or poorly adjusted lights or your own electrical problems. It is a catalyst for interaction. yes it isn't a big issue on its own but I've smiled at the badger joke, put in a pearl of sudo wisdom and got on my high horse regarding some of the replies to the post. All that by just one comment about a reverse light.

Maybe, but I don't feel the need to post about everytime I take a dump.

Yeah Matt has already done the medical treatment with Nathan leave the kid alone who knows whats going on in his head right now!
And hey I would be chuffed if a biker told me I had a fault with my lights rather than the police stopping me and saying the same followed by the crap they dish out!

(Sure this is the same Matt sorry don't know his nick on here)

If a girl can't tell the difference between a water and a double vodka she's not worth shagging.

I try to live my life by that.

i once followed a bloke home (only about 30secs off my route) to tell him he had a tail light out

he was a bit puzzled and apprehensive as i approached as he was about to go into his house, but thanked me when i told him

On the second or third week i got my bike, i had a gsxr 750 pull up next to me honking his horn, and getting really close to me. Thinking to myself what is this nutter trying to do i sped up and so did he, after about a 2 mile long chase and being told to pull over, i finally pulled over and realised it was the person who i bought the bike off and he wanted to know how i was getting on with it....

Felt like a bit of a tit then Embarassed Laughing

i stopped today when i saw a cilo with a smashed in bumper and a biker at the side of car talking to the driver... turn out it was his wife in the car and he was fine so i left .... just though i would add that it was really slippy today with the rain washing up all the diesel (saw loads of it) and crap onto the road and i almost lost it on the way in to work had to tap my foot down wasnt a good feeling and ive ripped my boots grr.... ive lost all confidence in my tyres in the wet i coud feel the back end wanting to go every time i leaned so in the end i just had to slow right down and not lean was quite boring and disappointing really (the air pressure wasnt low either i checked)

A good deed was me helping a GSXR 1000 bump start his bike, without me he would of been stuck there like a bitch.

in a town near me, there was an armed robbery, and a guy on a ninja gave chase for ages. Not quite sure how they lost him, but they did.

Best bit is he got to ride at illegal speeds with the police actually congratulating him for his efforts afterwards.
