Here is an excerpt from the official manual. It states to use "engine oil" I use magnatec, with a grade of 10w40, and it works ok for me.
Some say the wrong oil may cause the clutch to slip, but i have had no problems.
The oil drain plug is just behind the rear brake lever.
Drain until it stops dripping. I even flushed mine out with paraffin before adding the new oil. this ensures that any remaining old oil is removed from the sump.

you can get a good castrol oil specifically for the gearbox - i would avoid anything magnatec etc, althought as demon says he has not had any issues i would not personally take the risk.

You can also use a light gear oil, SAE 75w.

Just a quick note re the above, I use Motul transoil, about £6 for a litre, but it works really well, had absolutely no probs, in fact the clutch response is improved when riding hard over a long period .

Hope this is of use. Thumbs Up Very Happy

Magnatec 10w40. Been running with that for over a month now, with not a single problem. Just thought it might be better, as it is supposed to cling better to all parts, so should give your gearbox a longer life. Done that off my own back though, not because of a reccommendation. But it seems to be just fine.
