Bikers World Coleshill near Brum.
Three pairs for a fiver, kevlar and Titanium studs on the palms ..........White and green leather though Mr. Green
I have three pairs and they look very gay. On the plus side they are very cheap, good quality and ideal for playing with my ferret when she is in a funny mood.

good thread, i was thinking about this recently as my winter gloves are going to be not be fun over summer.

I saw some thin leather alpinestars ones last year in P+H at crawley, though they were like £20 and i thought it was a bitt excessive for summer gloves. Were very nice though.

I have my big winter pair with armored knuckles form lidl, but summer gloves i go through ever 2 months or so, they just get too disgusting to put my hand into... So i buy cheapo ones now... Spada MX something or other for 17 quid a pop... they last about a month of dispatching, which isnt bad...

I use Alpinestars GP Tech's. They are pretty faultless, they are super vented.

Okay on a serious note I recently purchased a pair of Frank Thomas Cool Control Gloves from Rivetts, £45 delivered. I like 'em they're leather with fabric mesh, carbon fibre knuckle protectors just like their winter gloves. I bought them because I don't have time to faff about and as I have a pair of their winter gloves in large, I knew the summer ones would fit also. Very Happy

I want to get some of these, but trying to get them for under a ton is proving a bit optimistic!

Thunderroad in South Wales had loads of similar models (last seasons?) going for around 75 a month or two ago

I got some Richa gloves from that big bike shop in Bradford for about 30 quid and they are pretty decent as summer gloves go. Not as comfy as the 80 quid Frank Thomas ones (that go with the leathers) but close enough.. Smile.

Those gloves look like there studded specifically for bitch slapping Exclamation

Got myself some northern Ireland service gloves for £4, after cleaning the mysterious dirt out the fingertips they are pretty damn good, no armour to speak of but there as well made as some Frank Thomas ones i had previously..

Did have some dienese roohide gloves that cost a mate £150, but due to his new strictly vegan gf he gave em me, they lasted a summer and a winter and were well stuffed after that, shocking how they deteriorated though compared to "cheap" ones..

I brought a pair of these the other month

Held Akira, they wasn't cheap but as soon as you put them on they fit... well like a glove. Used by Kawasaki WSB according to the Held website, best glove I've had anyway.

I paid about £25 for my Spada summer gloves from the bike people. They have pretty much all the features of more expensive gloves, just without the cost. They're damn comfy too.
