My car seems to be pulling to the left quite bad. The stearing in wheel is perfectly straight when going straight, but if I let go of it it veers sharply to the left.
I mean let go and its like across 2 lanes in a few seconds!
What could be up? The bloke did say it had a new left suspension arm for the MOT! ____________________ Carbon closet tart! https://www.bikepics.com/members/r6stuk/02r6/

It had ONE shock replaced?
Should really replace these in pairs.
Who fitted the spring/shock? You sure they seated the Spring correctly?
Also if ANY hub/suspension/steering rack, Lower arm work is carried out, The wheel alignment should really be checked afterwards anyway.
Pop it into a Kwikfit / ATS / STS and get the tracking checked out. Ask to see the gauges on the car though so they don't just go "Yeh its way out" when it really isnt.
PM me if your unsure on how to read the tracking gauges.
While its up on the ramp, take the opportunity to ask the fitter to check the ball joints, brakes, lower arms and bushes.
Other than that, The one "fairly obvious" thing to check would be tyre pressure. It really can make a difference you have a slightly flat tyre.
Good luck mate.
