if its seized, take off the left hand side engine cover and try turning the alternator flywheel, if it wont move, then its seized. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. In summery, mattsprattuk is a gobby little sh1tebag, dopehead tw4t, but sadly for all of us, he probably isn't THAT full of sh1te!!

i think your best bet if it is seized is to either strip it as jamie suggested, or to fill the bike with oil, and chuck a load of oil in the cylinder, take off the top cover (not sure what its called, but the valves are under there) and chck a load of oil in there, concentrating mainly on the cam chain.
then, try the flywheel again, make it turn a bit, leave for a while, turn again and so on. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. i think he means the bike wont move at all like most will when they are in gear.
the fact that the gearbox works, and when its in neutral it rolls would suggest if anything is seized, it would only be the top end. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. NSR's are 2t, so no valves, cams, or cam chain. ____________________ My Flickr |
