hi all, whereabouts do the 33BHP restrictors fit please? going to restrict my VFR400 NC30 and any guidance would be appreciated Smile

In the inlet tract between the carbs and the cylinder.

Since paint diagrams are the in thing at the moment, here's my effort.

AFAIK: There is a slot for them in the inlet rubbers, as all they do is reduce the amount of air that gets in to the engine , you may also find that you need to adjust the mixture/re jet the carbs. Thumbs Up

No they don't go anywhere, and there isn't a slot for them in the inlet manifold. Jamie, stop giving advice on stuff you don't know about.

They fit in the tops of the inlet rubbers which are usually held onto the carbs with Jubilee clips. They are a sod to remove because you have a bank of carbs which feed the front and the rear cylinders. You need to loosen the jubilee clips, pull off the carb bank and push the washers into the carb rubbers where the carbs went.

make sure they are flush with the bit of the rubber which narrows for the inlet, and then replace the carbs (which is easier said than done).
