From now on I'm going to hiding my bike keys in a very well secure place when I'm not home. Yesterday we were burgled and but luckily they didn't take my bike keys. Other car keys were stolen which is a royal pain in the arse but thankfully my pride and joy is safe. They could have easily put on my bike gear and ridden her away (would have been difficult carrying the flat screen tv and laptop though Evil or Very Mad ).

So be careful everyone.

They were caught yesterday evening. Police have been excellent.

It's a shame because I was going to take yesterday off work - would have been funny to see the look on their faces when I came down stairs not in the best of moods. Especially as next to my bed the is a 18" steel beraker bar and a nice heavy torque wrench.

Gutted for you ,Joe. Nice insurance payout could've gone towards a new GSXR750 or ZX10.
If you want your stuff back, its probably at Cash Converters.

I normally take my bike keys with me if im not going out with the bike. They are safer in my pocket than having them in the house with the bike outside.

No cars as two of them weren't there. Police caught them with all the gear we think - don't know for sure yet. Fookin hope so as they got the keys to my old man's car that's tucked away in the garage.

Just a note that i used to ritualistically break into my house using a twig/bamboo can/bit of guttering by hooking the keys through the letter.
Well that is, before i told them Evil or Very Mad
Very easy. Espiecelly if they came with a wire and hook.
So dont keep your keys on the table by the door.
