Excuse the lame title, we've had loads of embarrassing threads about your biking days.
There are obviously things you can't do in a car that you do on a bike.

So what have you done that looked seriously cool?

I’ll think of something else that’s happened later but the reason I made this thread, was because of earlier today.

I’d had a shitty evening, I won’t go into details…….its 7:30am and I’m late…..not in a good mood.

I came ragging down the road to the roundabout giving the 7R some happy trigger as I bank for the exit, I over took a old boy on the way out which may have induced a stroke, I don’t know, no time…. ..

As I came into the forecourt of the BP garage there are some young lads and lasses around two cars……they all looked as I came in on the Kwak, awesome sounds…lol
I pulled up a pump away from them, one of my things I’ve perfected over the years is, stand down with one boot as you bring the other one over the bike and the bike then rests on the stand. If you do it right and in one flowing movement it looks bad ass, I do it all the time now.
I have a quick look over at them and they’re looking at my wheels, I can tell they are heading somewhere together, perhaps a holiday or something.
One of them does say nice bike or something like that at me, I look at him with the Craft lid on, and give him a nod. To early to talk.
Fill up £10 in a matter of seconds, finish and go in to pay…..they were filling up when I came in.

As I walked back to the bike I saw the girl in back of the BMW admiring the Ninja, I looked at her, she looked at me, and just gave her the eyes like, yeah, it’s fast……

I put wallet away as I’m walking to the bike, into the other pocket, the alarm beeps, and then swing my leg over.

Dab on the red button and the 7R’s infamous idle sound echo’s around the forecourt……gloves on, roll off….

I got to the exit, look right then left to the lights….they’re green.
I light up the back tyre kicking up some dirt at the exit, holding the bars like the horns of a bull that’s just been branded, I make the lights and tear down the road into the distance.

I bet they all want a bike now Wink Thumbs Up

im gunna try that stand way, putting the stand down with left leg as you bring right one over? no hands on handle bar i take it?

For me its flying starts form traffic lights were the front wheel crests up to about a foot high, nothing much but carries on for a while, as you can hear my bike screaming away in the distance Thumbs Up Very Happy must look kinda cool.

Might be hard to explain...

Im sure i do it holding the bars as well.
On most stands there is a triangle shaped piece of metal, that is what you get your heel on and push it down.
You have to be confident doing it mind, obviously if you dont get it down then it's good bye pride. Laughing
Mine goes down fairly easily, some are too hard i find.

The easiest way is to pull up stop, instantly put down right foot, left heel kicks stand down, lean to stand and bring the right over.

Doing it without the right foot down first is quite dodgy. Mr. Green

Right foot over tail i take it? sounds like a normal way of getting of in honesty. i allways pull up stick my stand down and get of that or is it done really smoothly so it looks like both feet come down at once?

Might be me just getting confused

It does sound like the normal way doesn't it! Laughing

I'm going to have a look at what i do later, it's just something i do that looks very smooth as if the stand comes down first without you looking down at it. Then your right leg comes over.

I should do a vid or something Confused

I'm not that cool, I was told that at School.

But in terms of coolness, or just plain anti-social was at Bridgwater services on the M5. They have a long car park that has a roof on it. So you get to the start, just pull off in 1st all the way to redline and listen to the tone of an inline 4 reverberate throughout the car park.

I felt cool. I probably wasn't though.

Mine has to be screwing with chavs when their boy racering it up. Laughing

The night i was selling RS, my mate was on the back and i was filtering before a duel carrage way and see a full loaded cage of chav and a tin can zorst on the saxo/106/<insert crappy hatchback here> and sloted in behind then keep blipping the throttle.

Knowing that both of us would struggle as he was fully loaded and it was up hill i give it the beans and so does he, but come 70mph he running out of stream so i cane up the slow lane, knowing he wouldnt change lanes as i he was trying to block me and cruised on by.

It was stupid and now i would never ride like that with someone on the back but i still felt well cool back then when i owned those chavs Cool

Ive allmost had it at standstill just crawling forward at about 1-2mph. Cant be easy to do but i would imagine easier on a gs because of the tyres they have.

Tapping some gal laying on the gastank up the tradesmans entrance while riding across a very flat & boring part of the fens.
Bit difficult to do that kinda thing these days, but old Kaw Z1/Z900 & '77-'78 Z1000's had gastank profiles that were perfect for it....

I miss that bike.... Crying or Very sad

Luke,

I'm sure Sportacus would not be pleased with you using the sacred Stephanie's image in that way.

It's tantamount to sacrilege. Wink

The usual wheelies etc.

One of my favourites is to knock it into neutral rolling up to traffic lights stopping it on the rear brake with my hands on my head.

I was riding my last Jawa ratbike off the field at the custom show at Stormin the Castle rally. As I was threading my way through the crowds I heard some guy mutter "Fucking 2-strokes" to his mate. I immediately pulled the clutch in and blipped it up to the redline.

When I looked behind me, it had pooped out a perfectly round puff of oily blue smoke (like in a comic book) which floated straight up into the guys face. He wasn't too impressed but I thought it was cool, as did his mates who proceeded to rip the piss out of him.

It was really stinky smoke too because I was using cheapo lawnmower oil at 30:1 having just rebored the barrels.

Well today i ran out of fuel, it wasn't cool but i managed to save myself from looking a wanker by coasting a slip road to the petrol station.

There were about 5 or 6 guys on bikes sat outside the chippy (few supermotos and sports bikes) and they looked around as soon as they heard the bogging of my engine and then it cut out, so i "tucked in" as if i was going about 200mph which made 'em giggle Razz i proceeded to coast another 30 meters across a main road and into the petrol station forecourt (luckilly there was a gap in the traffic)

There where also the bunch of local chav wankers looking at me from the petrol station (they like to sit on the wall outside it) so i knew if i would have had to walk my bike they would have laughed. a lot. Very Happy

heres a diagram Razz overall i coasted about 100 meters and made it to the petrol station Very Happy
