 |
|
Hi,
Im on summer break from uni so have 4 months and would like to earn more money than my current job offers. I dont want to leave as i really get on with the poeple and they can always sort me out with work christmas and Easter so i feel its important to keep this job going. I should get around 20hours with this job.
I would like to get and extra 15 or so to make up to 35hours (due to uni debt from drinking/bike).
I know i could quite easily get a couple of jobs though people i know but i would like to know what the tax would be if i was on two jobs. I know that sounds vague but will i be taxed lots extra just for having 2 jobs?
Could all this be claimed but providing i dont earn more than the £4700ish or whatever the boundry is?? If so this would be helpful at uni when i have no money left.
Hope someone can help, im going to find a number on the net and see what they say i just thought some people may have some experience with this. ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |

Second job will be taxed at the basic rate (22%) with no allowances - they're taken up by your first job.
You won't get taxed more, you are taxed on your income for the year, regardless of the number of income sources.
Thing to do is to suffer the tax under PAYE, then come April check your income for the year vs tax paid and see if you're due a refund.

Well, i just rang and was told that if i get a P38s from my enployer then i will be not taxed providing i done go over the £5200 limit of earning. This shouldnt be a problem and if it is fill out a P46 for each employer and get taxed accordingly.
That was easier than i thought it would be  ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |

Until they invariable fuck it up , this pensioner I was doing a jobbie for was so heavily over taxed on an enourmous K code , and got a refund cheque at the back of the year,
don't worry fuckups are actually policy , it fills the IR bank account with billions which gets about 10% interest. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. you should keep your payslips , they employers should keep copies , P35s P45s and P46s, records are easy enough to get hold of biz must keep hold of them for like 7 years , ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die.
