Today i meet up with Kyle (H00dwink) and Joe (Touque05) and went for a bit of KD practise and went for a little hoon at the same time.
The thing is that we got to a duel carriage way where i floor it (33bhp so hardly an event) and just saw Joe get further and further behind. Thinking is was talking it easy we pull up and he says "i cant believe how much faster your S4 was compared to my Z750 (restricted too) and i relised he wasnt taking it as easy as i thought.
Now, this got me thinking about 2 aspects. Firstly, do some bike really take restrictors that differently that one can get that much further ahead. And secondly how 33bhp my triumph restrictor is compared to FI ones.
They are both fuel injected bikes so the difference shouldn't be that much i would have thought. Yes i could have been riding difference but i doubt it, there isnt much skill in putting your head down and opening the throttle on a 33bhp bike.
I know that some bikes (eg 400s) are better to ride with restrictor but still, i think this was quite a difference.
Has anyone else experienced a large difference in bikes that are 33bhp? ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |
