G'day guys, long time no speak!
Im finally getting the GSXR1000 Rizla rep i've always wanted.
One thing that im confused about:
Can someone explain how the exhaust cans are fitted on??? All my previous GSXRs had the 4 bolts on them at the end and a clamp - this looks slightly different......

Correct.
Thats was as i hadn't ridden for 4 months and needed a new bike.
Both my claims are resolved in my favour so i not only have 2 years NCB but £3000+ of policy re-imbursments.
Ill be trading the 750 in. |

Why don't you get rid of the entire stock load-of-crap (TM) exhaust system and fit a full race item? Lose the CAT, the exup sh!te (if it's got that) and the LAMBA (if it's got that) and let the motor breeeeaaathe. ____________________ "There's the horizon! The FI light will come on regardless when you take off the set valve. On my K6 750 I had to pull wire 30 from my ecu to switch the light off.
Not sure which it is for the 1000. Quite alot of people done the mod in america especially on gixxer.com. It was fairly easy to remove but if you dont feel confident pretty much all the suzuki dealers know how to do it. ____________________ My Two Babys- 2007 Stealth YZF-R1- 2006 K6 Suzuki GSXR750 Track Bike

The lambda sensor is there to adjust the air/fuel Replacing it with an alternative system is ok, but simply disconnecting it wouldn't be particularly good.
Titanium systems are the nuts, but i doubt he'll be able to spend another £1000 after the bike and paint job ____________________ www.bikepics.com/members/jackcheese <--- NOW FOR SALE! 51 Plate Cagiva Planet 125

once u remove the stock can u have to pull the wire from the ECU in order to stop the FI warning light. Every gsxr1000k5/k6 that u see without the stock can has had this done so its ok. its the black/brown wire on the top set, remove the whole motor while u are at it, its not going to be working so no point havin crap hanging out of the bike.
