2 strokes take more maintaining, but not much from what I've seen. Essentially they are more likely to fail than a 4 stroke bike, but they are much much easier to work with. Basically I managed to re build my engine in a few hours, first time trying.. Good luck doing that with a 4 stroke
A 2 stroke 125 will be miles faster than a 4 stroke, was the reason I went 2 stroke. I've ridden a 4 stroke.. its just not as fun. ____________________ Past: 55 Sym Jet, 91 ZZR250, 03 NSR125R. Present: 97 ER-5.
