I think the main difference would be that the CG has a carb, whereas the YBR is fuel injected. Personally, that would make me lean towards the CG, for user serviceability. ____________________ Current: CB500 Previous: CB100N, CB250RS, XJ900F, GT550, GPZ750R/1000RX, AJS M16, R100RT, Enfield Bullet

CG FTW!
YBR's just a cheap CG knock off...
Seriously
CG's are cheap to run, buy, insure and get parts for. That's the benefit of a 30+ year production run with continual development. ____________________ Kal...

I vote for the YBR i do 40miles a day and it hasnt put a foot wrong. New tyres on it and its a very good bike. Ok top speed isnt amaising but its reliable and fuel efficent 200miles on a tank aprox for me.
Mines new with free insurance, 2 year warrenty and 1 year RAC cover could i ask for any more . If kept well oiled and maintained it will reward you back ____________________ 2005 - 2006:Peugeot jet force 50 TDSI (sold)

Well, he eventually went for a GS125, as it was the same price as the YBR and came with 12 months MOT and didnt need any work doing to it.
I rode home with him and it happily plodded along at 60 down the bypass, and didnt look too pathetic, due to a little cowl over the headlight.
At least he is back on 2 wheels again. |
