Whats the most expensive insurance quotes you've had ?


Just ran up a quote on a 2005 CBR 600RR being 17 years old and "Just passed test" - Havn't yet.

Fully Comp(TPFT was same price)

Bike Value: £3500

Grand Total: £9678

I think i'll go to a 400cc first before a 600

Most of the time I'm told it a "unrealistic amount".

When i rang up for my S4 insurance it was 19, 0NCB, 600cc IL4, 1 fault claim. The guy said he thought i was crazy and that no one would insurance me and all the ones on his system were refusing.

I did a quote on an NC29 which was £440 - pretty cheap TPFT bu all my circumstances have changed since that quote, it'd be double now

Depends on area of residence, bike, you and accidents/license(points etc). You can't really tel Til you've rang round a few.

Can't remember who it was with but one company wanted 2000+ and I only payed 2000 for the bike...

Cheapest I could get it at the time was around 400 with Ebike, been with them ever since...

Some companys are a right set of twats. I havent had a stupid quote yet but i may soon once i have my test.. Currently at 17 on my nsr its £270 Thrid party which is not bad really. That was by lexham.
