My friend has one that I've used before (Athena I think) and it was pretty good, and really easy to lift up to get to the fuel tank, only issue was it had to be full otherwise it got blown down when filling.
I'm after one, but the keen prices put me off (got a tank cover though! ) ____________________ TheShaggyDA: I've got 3 or 4 pairs that predate my wife, so at least 11.5 years old. |

Hi
They are pretty good and take all sorts of abuse we have one (an alpha I think) that has had regular use and abuse for 10+ years.
They also come with carry strapps to use as a rucksack etc.
If you are not in rush keep an eye on their Bargins Section or on ebay or the BMF.
But imo they are worth the money.
Regards

To give you more idea of the abuse Charlotte mentions.
We have carried the bottom end of a 125 2 stroke engine in a Baglux tank bag .
All the best

Nice Will invest in one, are they easy to clip on and off of the bike or are they a right pain in the arse? The less practical they are, the more likely I am to not use it.

Just another vote to say they're worth the money.
Get the cover and then choose the bag.
I've a tank bag, don't know the name, plus just a map holder.
Useful for shorter trips.
FWIW the covers are called tank bras in the USA. ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...
