hi
just wondering what the difference is between the air screw and the throttle stop screw. Its because my 50 has poor idle speed and cuts out when lights are switched on

you need to read the manual and turn the air mixture screw to the stated amount, the throttle stop screw will set your idle, set the idle with the lights on Wink Very Happy

well without me having a manual i cant tell you what to do, all you can do is turn the throttle screw to adjust your idle, set the idle with a hot engine about half way on the gauge to get a good reading, and set your idle with your lights on etc, then when your happy it will do, problem is tho, you dont know what to set it to do you? if i was you i'd buy a manual of find one on the net. Very Happy

ok well i think that they stand for countrys tbh with you, is there no key in the file? to tell you what it stands for? if i was you i'd turn it out 1 and 3/8'th of a turn what you have to do is tighten it until its just seated, so not too tight then turn it back out 1 full turn and 3/8ths so like just under half a turn. understand now mate? Very Happy
