Okay, somebody please help.
My NC30 starts up fine when it is cold, however whenever it is warm it just wont start. It appears to be that the battery isnt providing quite enough power, however it is fine when the bike is cold.
Before I shell out for any new parts (which may not be the problem) can anybody shed some light on what the problem could be.
It gets rather embarrasing when I pull up at the petrol station, fill up go and pay then have to bump start the bike to get her going again.
(I have no problems bump starting btw, just normal starting using the start button)
I have had a couple of suggestions which point towards either the starter motor (sounds normal) or maybe regulator/rectifier (as the lights tend to dim when the engine is revved). I think I will need to get busy with the multimeter, unless someone here has a clue.

Hi
Sometimes a starter motor can sieze up when hot, thats what happened to my dads car anyway, it would be fine cold but when he tried to start it from warm it wouldnt go so in the end he had ti get a new one, thats just my thought anyway wait for one of the pros like Kireth or kornel to post an answer

Nah, not the idiots guide. Got the NSR manual, NS manual, GTS1000 manual, Gilera CX125 manual, Aprilia engine manuals, Cagiva C12 and Mito manual and the Bimota Deici manual by my PC. Most of the rest are upstairs, but most of those are car manuals
All the best
