ok, i have decided that to truly get this zx7r to have the power i want i need a more powerful engine. I have read that certain years of the zx9r engine are a direct bolt in on a 1997 zx7r. Has anyone done this before or know where i can get some hard facts on wether this will work or not, and what is involved exatly. I was going to build the 750 motor but for what i would have in it, in terms of money i would be better off going this way. Please help me out. I usually respond every day if you have a question.

I've done it.

What exactly do you want to know?

Bish posted a good link above, I used that and others for info when doing mine.

Also, register on https://www.redmonkey.com/7r/index.php?destin=.%2Fstart.php

Lots of members on there in the States too, and quite a few people have done the 7/9 mod.
