Is it a level light or a pressure light?

To give you a clue, on virtually all bikes it's a pressure warning light.

the 180cc is a 2 stroke, therefore its a level light, its a simple wire between the light and the tank sensor, the sensor should pull out of the oil bottle, just pull it out and check it and its connections

As the man says above for the 2T tank and the Heat guage will either be a blown bulb, damaged wire or a dodgy switch.

i had the same thing happen to my RXS100...

RXS100_chris pointed out it is a test light, as soon as you put the bike in gear it goes out.

There is a 180 4 stroke as well.

I have the same problem and the only way to knock off the oil light is to turn the ignition key a bit and it disappears. No idea why and it's baffled me since I have owned the scooter.
