I left my bike on park a few days ago by accident and it drained the battery, now after charging it back up, when i'm riding the bike the alarm will randomly set itself! it even starts panicking and going off properly when i'm going down the road.

any ideas?

not sure of the location of all the fuses on my bike (05 R1) and I don't have a manual.

cheers

Sounds like you may have killed the bikes battery.

It seems to me the alarm is sensing voltage drops on the battery, thats where I would look first.

The horn is probably a fuse.

I would also check the alarm earth's.

i'd check all the fuses, does the data tool alarm come with its own fuse? and like sickpup said check that its earthed propperly on something clean (and obviously metal).

If it was the indicator fuse there should be a seperate diode added into the system when fitted to prevent this happening.

Did the alarm start going off whenever you flicked the indicators on then?

No I mean the diode may not have been fitted in the first place.

Sorry, to explain better the diode is an optional part not normally needed I just remember I needed to fit it on the only R1 I fitted an S3 Data-tool to.
