Decided to clean inside the bike as best as I can after watching the videos posted on here.
Took 4 hours to clean the parts, wash/poslish bike. - Still got the wheels to go yet Shocked
WD40 Is your friend, - with GUNK

Its not perfect but the ammount of crud/oil was bad. 10 year old bike.
Still bits to do but thats enough for one day Smile

Very nice. But next time, use carb/brake cleaner, it will have all that crap shifted in about 10 seconds, and it dries almost instantly!

Thumbs Up

Very good job, well done getting behind the shock, always find that a bugger to do without removing the wheel.

I gave mine a go just after watching the vid but the crap on my bike has been on it for probably years now, tried paraffin & WD40 but it wouldn't budge. So i took it to the power jet down at the garage with a bottle or Paraffin & it still didn't come off. Shocked
