Thought I'd tart up my new toy a bit, so I've added:
-> Custom crutches holder
-> Givi Top box
-> Loobman Chain oiler

(Click for more detailed pics.)

With boots like that and your style of a hair cut one may suggest you be a bad person I think its just the trouser to ankle ratio is what does it. Laughing Wink

Awesome pics, love the crutch holders Thumbs Up Mr. Green

How hard is she to get up ?

If I can have a crash go on your stunt bike sparks Wink (maybe when me leg is a bit better).

Not massively easy McGee - can be powered up in second, but clutched up is much better - however not too hard either. Will clutch up in third, if you get it right.
Without trying too hard (don't want to push my luck with a broken leg, so staying below the balance point generally) had it through the gears into fourth.

I should point out that I can do wheelies proper(ish) like Smile....

Yea, Andy. There was a thread in the Racing section at the time and I'm told the pics will soon be released to the 'public'. Might do another write up to go with 'em if I can be arsed.
Just got back from a check-up 3 months down the line and the bones are no better than the day after the accident Sad.

Tin, well, ya see... I've been having ultrasound from a physio; this is to shake the bone about a bit to try and attract blood and generally get it healing it's self.
The way I see it, a 400cc single at 5000 rpm is probably going to have about the same effect Wink.

More than welcome Wink should be road legal soon so might have to come up your way for a play if you know any quiet car parks, preferably gated off Laughing Cool

The front end seems to be clawing for the sky in that one, but you're saying you're don't want to push your luck? Laughing

Looks like a fun bike all in all, how are the crutche kept in place?

And out of curiosity, how much did the bike cost?

G, your silly if you have to stamp your feet down at any point from getting that wrong your gonna have to go through the whole process of getting that leg better again or at least to the point your at.

Quacker:
Keeping it just below the balance point, still in the latter pic Smile.
It doesn't actually wheelie that 'easily' as it's pretty low powered (around 37hp at the rear wheel I believe and not masses of midrange as it's only a 400.)
It is quite fun, but more because you can rag it a bit and not be going stupid-fast from doing so.

The crutches are held in with a tie down style strap which is riveted to the clamps for the pipes lower down.

Deano:
That's why I was taking it easy, not doing anything that I wasn't comfortable doing.
I insured my stoppies weren't too high (as you can see, though I did have some higher than that, as with the wheelie) and my wheelies weren't going to cause any need to put my feet down.
What /is/ dangerous is going to see a Physio who has outdoor steps which are /very/ slippy when wet that also have a metal railing. Much, much more likely to fall and badly hurt my leg doing that, yet nobody so far has suggested I don't do it.
The bones in my leg are in no better state than they were the day after I had the accident (three months ago), so 'going through the whole process' isn't really a massive waste of time (though possibly painful if I did fall down those stairs).

It's all about risks, understanding them and minimising them as required.

I'm sure G's a big boy and can decide for himself if it's worth the risk.

Good on ya if you want to ride fella. Thumbs Up

Don't worry McGee, I survived, tis all good Smile (Though I may not be saying that in another six weeks, four and a half months after I broke it when the leg still hasn't started knitting Neutral).

Haven't written a detail review, but may try to next time I've got a minute.

CCMs going ok, though speedo's died. It is about what I expected - engine definitely isn't amazing, but lower power means better thrashability, which is good in my book - about the right power for me.

I'm not quite that good, especially without pillion pegs to rest a foot on (not sure the top box is strong enough).

Had about "11 o'clock" on SV / TRX, but that's been balance point with the bike close to me, rather than past the balance point.

Saying that, if I crashed and mashed the bit of metal holding my leg, they might actually do something about it and make it mend proper-like.

So probably best to leave it to sparks Smile.
