i want to 'upgrade' to LED indicators on my GSXR i have found the ones want (flush fronts and mini rears) but when im looking for a relay the suzuki ones are always universal ones for some reason when kwak, hon and yam are all specific. Id prefer plug in fixes to wire cutting.
Has anyone done this? how did you get round it?

The only way to do this is by the use of resistors, those universal relays do not work i'm afraid - I wired one up and it blew loads of fuses until I took it out. Very annoying.

Motrax LED indy's generally come with resistors, so you will be ok with those. Faiing that, you should be able to get the resistors from ebay, I'm looking for some new ones at the moment (as the last lot were somwhat shoddy, and teh terminals came out).

You will definitely need to do soem wire cutting - get a cutter/stripper if you dont have one already, and I used bullet connectors and shrink wrap.

DO NOT use Scotchlocks - 100% cowboy crap.

i plugged 1 in to the front and 3 of the bulbs flashed brightly and the rest were very dim
the flash rate was also fast

what do i do? what resistors do i need?

i have the universal flash it... are you saying this wont work?
