i dare say you could get a largish thumper in there,,
due to how narrow the frame is, you would only get a single in,
i reckon you could get a xr400 or xr600 engine in with little bother,
you may have to get a cradle made up, but, you might get away with just some adapters for the engine mounts.
i think if i had an engine and a frame, i would defently give it a go,
but bodging on that scale isn't every ones cuppa tea ____________________ the humans are dead

I know a guy who fitted a cb500 engine in a Mito.
Oh and it's turbocharged, and intercooled. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

lol no, but fitting a bigger engine to a 125 is a stupid fuckin idea tho, if your gunna put a bigger fuckin engine in a frame for a smaller lower powered machine then the frame will need strengthening, you will have to have mounts made to fit, you will have to make sure the front sprocket lines up with the rear one.
why not save your fuckin money and buy a 600?

fitting a larger engine to a nsr 125 frame isn't a stupid idea, and a 4 stroke single generally won't be any more powerful than a smokey single, a nsr is around 30hp derestricted, which is about the same as a xr400,
the frame is more than capable of handling alot more than 30 measly hp with out having to strengthen it in the slightest.
if i had a rolling chassis and a xr400 engine sitting out side right now,
i wouldnt even think twice about trying to merge the 2 together to make a light, reliable, and easy to ride, smooth revving little pocket rocket ____________________ the humans are dead
