Just bought vfr400 (nc21) any thing i should look for ,??going to give it a good look over tomorrow,anything peculiar to this model?runs nice,what oil and how much ?where is oil filter ?is body work easy to remove ?or will lugs break etc,thanks  |

Just a genral all over check.
All depends on what the last owner did.....!
I would start with a complete fluid change.
Coolant, oil, brake fluid etc
Check the valve clearance and adjust as required.
Check the rear hub and swingarm for play.
Also i suggest removing the rear wheel and giving it a good coat of copper grease on the hub. ____________________ Http://www.manchesterbikers.net |
