Anyone seen this? Saw it at the cinema a week ago and I wasn't expecting much. Thought it was gonna be some crappy slightly funny teenage comedy.

Haven't laughed so hard in ages though. Took awhile to start but when the officers come that's when it goes mental. Laughing

"McLovin!"

Laughing

Well worth a watch if you haven't seen it. Thumbs Up

Might have to see the Kingdom.

Cops were awesome.

Loved McLovin when he's with his dream bird and he goes "OMG it's in!"

And then the cops cock block him Laughing

Some of the girls were quite nice too Whistle

"I got a boner!"

Gonna have to download it. Was really impressed with the film.

Also saw Knocked up which has one of the cops (bushy hair dude) and it's quite funny too, but nowhere near as funny.

Hehe... classic line!

Some bits were sort of wierd, but overall it was pretty funny...

The period blood on the leg had me in stitches...

That film had huge marketing hype over here. Heard it was good, despite. Haven't seen it yet. Saw Knocked Up last night. Not too bad. The stoner friends were extra funny and all-too-familiar.

Is this film the sort of funny that Benchwarmer is funny as that is the worst film ever, or is it actually funny?

Its a little of everything.

The whole teenage nearly going of to college so lets get laid has been done a fair few times so the jokes are a little weak. The whole McLovin is funny, but one of the other main characters, Seth, is annoying. He has far too many lines and with a voice that you just want to punch in the face, it makes his monologues like root canal surgery.

6/10 Could do better.

Right, just watched Superbad & i wasn't really impressed. From what people have said about it & being in the top 250 over at IMDB i was expecting alot more.
Wasn't very funny, i was waiting for the punch line's but they never showed up, what you get is a handful of small weak jokes throughout. And again, it's nothing we havn't seen before.

Can't see how it's got a 8.1 at IMDB tho.

Hi

I was a bit disappointed with Casino Royale. Seems almost like they were so proud of their real stunts they forgot to put anything else in the film.

All the best

Excuse me sir, this thread appears to have become a discussion about other movies too, and how some of them compare to superbad, or even how movies you've only just watched have pleased/disapointed you. Now jog on Laughing

I remember watching a TV interview with Daniel Craig on a talk show just after seeing the film and he said one of the conditions of doing this film was that it was bare of any gadgets as they would make their appearances in the next one(s). He wanted to concentrate mainly on the stunts aspect of the film.
