Did my first trackday! It was a few months ago now but haven't had chance to post the pics. Went really well, I was about the 3rd fastest in the inters i think.

Got my peg down and my brake pedal Laughing then it dug in a little and nearly threw me off!

Excuse the dirty bike, i fixed a badly leaking fork seal just before the trackday!

thats some hefty cornering there, raise the rearsets as your obviously too fast for em, then sort the rest of the bike out and race it Thumbs Up

The VFR uses an 18 inch rear. I'm sure it'll fit, but wouldn't it be weird going from a 17" rear(on the RVF) to the VFR's 18" everytime it rains?

Good lord. Go get yourself a new 600. It must have been so yawn-inspiring riding such a slow, overweight, underpowered, overpriced 13 year old bike around a track filled with the latest showroom bling.

Yea i know the vfr has an 18 inch back wheel but there are some good wets out for em' + a new dunlop tyre is out to replace the gpr70 which looks awsome, and it's even available in 18 inch! Very Happy
Would the power be much different with the 18" on?

I cant afford a new 600 craig, im 17. + i like my little 400, its fast enough to learn how to ride on the track. boring? Maybe for you but it was the most fun i've had in ages! Also, look at how much money you pointlessly spent on your vfr? i wouldn't say £1500 is overpriced for an RVF, would you? Wink

The trackday was with hottrax. Don't think they're avaliable in 18", i've looked on www.blackcircles.com/bikes. Anyone tried Dunlop Alpha 10's yet?

daz.

Ps. BTW, i love your 400 really craig Smile
