I just did it by opening up all the yellow plastic screws and pouring a little distilled water in each hole...Maybe I messed up?
I'll see if the bike starts now Laughing

Sounds about right. As long as the fluid is between the min and max marks.

The thing is I can't see where the fluid is, but it seemed to be non existent. I shook the battery around before pouring anything in and there was no sound at all...

Take care that you do not knock your tank onto the floor whilst replacing the battery.

Shine a light in the other side when you are checking the level and you
will see it better.

If it was dry the chances are the plates may have buckled with charging and you may find it won't hold its charge.

A good way of getting the level right on a non see through battery is to use an eye dropper or similar, hold it against the side of the battery so the tip lines up with the 'max' mark. Put a bit of tape round the dropper level with the top of the battery. When you top up the battery, put the dropper through the filling holes up to the tape mark and suck out any excess (or just gradually fill tip the dropper starts to pick up a bit of acid). A syringe and a bit of tube works just as well (even the one you use for bleeding your brakes) Very Happy

If it was empty I would say it's knackered. When I bought my scooter my battery it was really low on water, topped it up and charged it but it couldn't hold charge. Bought a new battery for £15.
