was looking at converting my SRAD from KM to MPH, so onto ebay i trecked...
SRAD MPH clocks, buy it now, £100 FUCK THAT i said...
so looked a bit harder.
saw someone who obviously doesnt know much about dismantling a bike... selling their clocks, with what looks like a wiring loom still attached! so i bid, i win, and get clocks and a loom for £27... huzah!
killed 2 birds with 1 stone and will soon have UK working headlights too thanks to the loom
and if your one of the 2 people who tried to slip in 2 bids in the last 15 seconds... I WON, AHAHHAHAHAH
you dont care, but you read this anyway.
anyone wanna buy some european KM/H SRAD clocks and a euro wiring loom?
cheers queers xxx
total spent on SRAD:::
£900 for bike
£27 for MOT
£27 for new not vital clocks
...and its in feckin good nick
goddammit i should have been a businessman! ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. european headlight loom has 2 wires going into each the lights.
UK has 3.

no, i got a decent srad for £900
to convert it to injection from carbs, do you just need injectors and throttle bodies?
any major advantages/gains? (i mean noticeable ones) ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. smoother power delivery, and if set up right, possibly more efficent? not sure on that though
Disadvantage...i was gonna say harder to service, but if youve bloody built it/modded it your gonna be able to d the work...so dont see any downsides. Cept....Carbs FTW! ____________________ "Oh....it looks like Average Joe's is forfeiting the match!" - "Yeah, its a risky strategy but lets see if it pays off for 'em Cotton." |

you get a much better optimum mixture line, much easier to setup
but mine would be noticeable from a 600 carbed to a 750 FI & still keeping the QAT & 15/48 aswell
iv already downloaded the power commander software now, so gonna use the girlfriends laptop & connect it up while the bikes running & see what shes running like when i put her together
& the list you see mattsprattuk is what you need for the conversion - not just fuel injectors
titz - your right about the backfires, cause when you hit kill switch the FI bikes cut them off but the carbs still build up fuel & ignite it again when turned back on & BANG! tho its not good for the bike - so i only do it on special occasions now ____________________ GSXR750
