had an Almax III and squire lock on order since the 18th... they gave it half a week then told me they would send it out on the 8th (Today).
Guess what? They haven't
And they took my £170 on the 19th. Not a happy bunny. Sent them an email, hope to get a qucik reply -_-

EDIT: 19th dec? No wonder they only just sent it out, theres probably been a chritmas holiday or something with it being in december but dont take my word for it. |
Well, i work in a mail room and we were still dealing with mail up until xmas eve, so no reason they couldn't have sent it off the day after i ordered!
Also, the fact they TOOK MY £170, and *then* said, oh too bad, gotta wait 3 weeks. If i had known that, i'd have kept the money in my pocket until after xmas.
And i didn't expect it to arrive today, i expected them to *send it out* today, as they said they would, or at the very least, contact me apologising for not sending it out today because of *insert excuse here*... Not just take my money, tell me they can't send it out for 3 weeks, not send it out when they said they would, and then not even contact me about it.
*sigh*
I buy alot of crap online, and usually it's a case of;
Day 1; Order
Day 2; Order is processed / sent out
Day 3; Order sen ou if not done so on 2nd day
*order arrives a few days later after royalmail have lost it, battered it, found it, then sent it to the roght place*
They've had a week since new years, that should be more than enough for them to get their act together and send it out!
Under an hour to grab my money, but 3 weeks to even get round to sending it out. I can deal with not getting it when they say i would, people mess up / forget things and the like. It just irritates me that they take your money before they send out your stuff....
EDIT: Just for the record, i'm aware that the majority of e-tailers do this. ____________________

It's cool, i've finished sulking now
They emailed me back, said they are very sorry and will get it to me by Friday. They have also said they will refund my P&P. Which was only £6.75, *but* it shows they are trying to put things right, which scores a 10 in my book.
So hurrah, <3 Almax and all that.
Unless it doesn't arrive on Friday. Then i'm going to start killing people. (Read: i will cry). ____________________

Club something with the chain when it turns up, that'll make you feel all better
I assume you got the tailpack with yours too? I've carried mine in my tankbag once, whilst it was fine with a pillion on the back, once they got off the bikes handling went to absolute shit, twitchy to the point of being dangerously skittish in the wet. Given my bike is a bit of a barge, I'd not fancy seeing the results on a 125 ____________________ 2010 Triumph 1050 Sprint ST |

Nope Was £170 as i was, so wasn't gonna spend th extra (£35?) cash.
And i won't be taking i places with me.
The bike only lives in 3 places.
Work; High security compound, only one entrance / exit, security guards know me and my bike. One is also a biker
Away; At the GFs. Bike lives in the garage, snugged up next to a CBR1100 and XV1100.
Home; In the garden. Secure gate, disc lock, cover and now a great fck off chain ____________________

I've got mine at home gathering dust, and it looks pretty sturdy.
Won't be as good as something that's concreted in, mind.
T |
I've handled them myself at the cycle show at Earls Court, and seen the results of the tensile testing..
The test they cancelled before the test rig broke cos it couldn't move it. The concrete will failt before the anchor does, and since it's attached by four chemically bonded bolts, when it does come away, it takes a chunck of concret the same size as a small football with it.
They are Sold Secure gold in EVERY category.. that means Gold for pushbike, gold for motorcycle AND gold for Caravan. IT's the only ground anchor that has been tested in all categories, never mind attained gold in them.

Wow, that's pretty good, I have a 'Wall' fixing kit with it which aren't Chemical bolts but instead are "Liebig" expanding bolts, heard of them?
