I have got away in the past on my cars undoing the sump plug abit cleaning up the area and applying a small bead of mastic. Let it go off for a while then nip it up. When you want to undo it just run a stanly blade around it. bodgey but works  ____________________ oops I did it again.... |

Aye you can phanny it together with glue/string/chewing gum etc. Whilst you save up for a new engine when it runs short of oil.
Oh and budget for a repair of the driveway too.
Or 'be' arsed and fix it correctly.
It's folk like you who give motorcyclists a bad image.

Copper washers are normally fine, you sure its done up tight enough? Be careful not to strip the threads though!  ____________________ Cbr1100xx blackbird gone, mk4 golf gt tdi chav now
