i have sprung a leak Rolling Eyes
where the fuel line attaches to the petrol switch, everything looks in order but as soon as i turn the petrol on it pours out, the clip seems tight enough. and this has only just happened over night so i have no idea what the problem could be. i have just fitted the hootaz twin horn system under the petrol tank, but i have checked the fuel line and there are no cracks and no pinches through the line to cause it to come back up. very very urgent, its my only form of transport. please help

Is it sealed correctly where it joins either end?

You could have pulled it loose when fiddling about.

yes, its attached firmly at each end, i have pinched the clips with pliers at each end of the hose without blocking the flow, but it is still leaking. its as if the petrol is going into the hose, but not going anywhere and backing up. i think it could be a pinch or something but as i say i have checked the full length of the hose and it all seems fine. its really confusing me.

Switch the tap off, pull pipe off and have a look at the ends, good chance its just split. Leaves you with 2 choices. EIther snip the end off if its long enough or nip to local parts shop and get some new pipe. Best stuff is the clear reinforced tubing, you can see the petrol in it then.

Backing up? Is there a blockage?

Just fit a new pipe.
