Hey Hey,

Just thought I'd post up some pics of my new bike, got it last week and havent got my insurance sorted yet so not been able to take advantage of the recent good weather Evil or Very Mad

Its a 916 strada with quite a lot of extras and has been looked after religously by the two previous owners (receipts for everything)

Its has a 998 front suspension and brakes
Evolution slipper clutch
Termi exhausts
carbon bits and pieces
an Aprilia master cylinder
the engine was rebuilt 4000 miles ago by "ducatijohn"
the rear shock was rebuilt not long ago

I'm sure it has some other stuff as well but cant remember just now.

The 2 year belt change is approaching and I'm told it needs a new chain then I'll be good to go!

DON'T do what I did a week or so ago.

That is, buy a shiney new bike and then crash it on the second day.

Enjoy! Thumbs Up

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Cheers!

I'm think I'm going to be treading on eggshells riding it for the first couple of months as I dont know what to expect and will be gutted if I bin it.

How do you find yours Barry, any problems with it?

Well, I haven't ridden it yet. I brought it as a track bike, so I've spent the last month or so buying lights, nice bodywork (Fila), chain & sprockets, termi cans etc...

I just need to replace the cam belts before I take her out for a spin, which I'm going to try and do this weekend.

Thumbs Up

Got them from the US for about £30 the pair. They seem to go for around £70+ in the UK.
