Stu,
I mention a company in reading in this thread that will do it. they are very good and will colour match. Not sure of the cost of respraying on its own though, because I had a panel repaired.

around £160 for a scratch repair, and a bit rebuilt with fibreglass. Also I think they touched up one of the decals too. ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade

I got mine done by a fella called Phil, he started up his own spraying company a couple of years back and when I binned my Mito he did a full respray on it for around £300 aswell as putting on all my decals (over 60 of them lol - though imo it doesn't look that much!) and he said if he'd have known he'd have done the plastic welding on it too for a little extra if he'd known it needed doing but I got that done elsewhere, regrettably! He did do it as a favour for a friend which is why it was such a good price but his prices normally are very cheap anyways so perhaps give him a try if you can't find anyone more local.
It's called 8 Ball Paint and he has a website here at https://www.8ballpaint.co.uk. He's just outside of Bolton up here in Lancashire so perhaps give him a ring as his contact details are on there. By the way, that's my Mito on the site, he did an excellent job on it in my view, and all his other work I've seen has been great too... Top bloke too, really easy going and loves his bikes, last I heard he had a GSXR750 and for fun an RD350 hehe. |

does anyone know of a guide to doing it yourself (with cans or a compressor)?
or has anyone done it?
I'm thinking of doing my bike ____________________ "There are some things nobody needs in this world, and a bright-red, hunch-back, warp-speed 900cc cafe racer is one of them - but I want one anyway, and on some days I actually believe I need one. That is why they are dangerous."

Do you have any details of examples of your work on bike fairing as that is what most would want to see.
You'll be best adding your site to the Links sections. |

These guys https://www.clevelandbikespray.com/ are amazing. Ive just had my fairing, plastic welded in several places and resprayed to colour match for just over £200. It was the best quote i got by some distance. He'll explain everything and can show you examples of his work. Top man, top work - check the website |

Nice work guys.
Damage - ignore them, the forum's going through a premenstrual phase right now, probably brought on my the non-arrival of summer. |
