I guess it seems easy to me now, but when I started to ride a gear bike I found clutch control hard (I guess I had experience with bike handling though from my Twist And Go). Just left the engine rev quite high and slip the clutch, do this in a straight line and see how slow you can go without putting your feet down. I'd keep doing that for a bit...
Once you can go really slow, try going in circle (don't have to go as slow) making them a bit more tighter and slower as you get confident. Eventually you will have the u-turn hacked really small roads
Good luck

i know it might sound stupid but remember to RELAX and take a deep breath before setting off. because you are probably thinking 'oh god, i won't make it', you will tense up and your weight distribution and control will go tits up... ____________________ www.artridertraining.co.uk |

Rev the nuts off it, dump the clutch while holding the front brake - when be able to turn it round really quickly then
Seriously though, you've got all the advice, just practise practise practise . |

Find a deserted car park and use it as your practice area, use the parking bays as obstacles, i used to do this even when i`d passed my test many years ago. Give it a try, you won`t be bothering anybody this way, good luck. -Jockey. |

Another thing that dosnt seem to have been mentioned enough is keep your feet on the footpegs, im always doing uturns and the jazz, and if you put your foot down i never seem to make it in one turn, unlike if i keep legs up.
Also trust your instincts, just like riding a bike, but dont be afraid to put stop/put your legs down if you feel its too much for you.
if needed ask the instructor for some extra help on the manovure,
I had trouble with clutch on cbt, kept dumping it out, through gears apparently everyone there including the instructors nicknamed me the "Epileptic Spider" because id clutch in, smash into next gear, and drop clutch Oh well i learnt my lesson ____________________ Past: '05 Peugeot XPS '99 Aprillia RS125 '94 FZR600R
