Hello.

I have a nsr 125 with malossi 180 cylinder, re-destricted exhaus, 13x36 sprocket and CI626. I have cut the rpm wire who stop at 10500. And I only get 150 km/t on flat road Confused
This is slow, what is wrong ? Sad

A Re destricted exhaust eh? No wonder...

to be honest mate 95mph ish is probably all you're going to get, even with all that tuning.

The exhaus is Un-Restricted. I think I could drive faster with 14 sprocket, people in Norway talk about 170-180 km/t with 14 sprocket. I woundred if that true or not.

95mph - 153 km/t

with the huge torque on the malossi a 14 teeth front sprocket is the minimum , i think you can fit a 15 teeth
so actually you have a final transmission of 2,77 fitting a 14 in the front will give you 2,57 and 160 km/h , fitting a 15 give you 170 km/h

Then i buy 15 front and 36 back? With 15 sprocket will I have max speed or acceleration? Is it bad acceleration with 15 sprocket ? Rolling Eyes
Will the engine be damage if I drive in 170 km/t ?

you said i am on 13x36 , so for few quids buy 14 & 15 front sprockets . first fit the 14 , see what you get and if you feel it's still nervous , fit the 15 .

Okei, I will buy 15 sprockets when I order. Is there somthing else I can do to drive faster? Have the engine good to be drive so hard?

i warn you about big bore , if you dont drive smoothly , your crank (and your kit) will worn in little time . tune your oil pump 2-3 mm before lining the notches . what carb you have and which jetting ?

"big bore" - 180 cylinder ?
I have drive 3000km without tuned the oil pump, I have drive 3-4km in 130km/h. So I think I could drive like this.. Or ?
28mm carb, 140 mainjet

every kit over 125cc is a big bore
better carb tunning : main jet 145-148 , idle jet 45 , power jet 70-75

I have drive with 150, it`s to big.. I know a guy who drive with 138 main jet, that worked.

What happen if I switch to 70-75 power jet insteed the orginal ? Will I get better gasrespons ?

I can have 11000rpm in 5th and 11000rpm in 6th, it`s easy. So do you mean I have to buy power jet? No one I know have change power jet in their carb, and they could drive. One guy have drive 8000km before hi sold his bike, and the bike still run Very Happy
