You'll be looking at £75-£80 a month repayments.

just work it out..
2200, lets say you do a bank loan, cos its better.
add on maybe £200 for the bank
2400 divided by 3 years.
about £67 a month probably.
you might be able to extend your overdraft, and take a smaller loan too, go ask your bank about the options. and look on moneysupermarket.com or something for loan options.

The interest rate from a lender does depend on your credit history. If you have no credit history you are likely to be 'upped' in the risk stakes, hence the 15% rate. If you had a good history, prior loans, paying credit cards etc, you would be more likely to get the lower advertised rate (7-9%) Hence why people use the ridiculous 29.9 car loan companies.

2x credit cards with suitable credit limits.

buy it on one, may cost you 2% depending on the dealer.
transfer it to the over one again costing 2-3% but if you choose wisely it will be 0% apr for the lifetime of the balance or at least a better rate than a loan.

I got my CBR600 RR5 on finance. Put a couple of grand down on it.

Have the finance over 3 years and pay back about £95 pm, works out at £3,420 for that.

Works out at about £700 interest all together which is not bad, when i compared other loans including banks the finance worked out cheaper.

Have the option to settle early and eligible for early settlement interest rebate or something, unsure on exact name.

I would recomend shopping around and see what finance or loan company is going to be the cheapest. Maybe look at friends or family to take out bank loan and arrange to pay them back if it's going to be cheaper.

If you do get it on finance make sure you read the contract inside out before signing it Thumbs Up

I paid £2200 for my Hornet, which I sold privately for about £1,400 last September.

My Fazer 1000cc is on 0% finance. £100 deposit. Though I did have the cash already to cover all 30 monthly payments in a savings account.

After uuhming and aahing over it for about 6 months (literally) I got my ZRX on finance, I'm paying £109 a month for 3 years after giving a £99 deposit. The bank wouldn't give me a loan and credit card companies wouldn't give me enough to cover it so finance was the way I went. I got it at 6.somthing% interest which I don't think is too bad. I also have the option to repay early with no penalty.

the bike i was hoping to part ex is being sold to my mate as hes desperate for it

hes giving me a brand new 57 plate speedfight 100 and £300. the bike needs the panels putting on as some scally wag nicked them all and hes got some new ones

they have a 06 plate speedy 100 for £1500 with more miles. you reckon i could ask £1200 trade in. they could sell it for £1600-£1700 easy

leaves me the £300 for a restrictor kit and it means my repayments are less

how long does it take for a decision

They will tell you there and then what they are prepared to offer you for it. You would get more if you sell privately.
