Nice bike. Wink

Only thing i have to say about it is the seat/seating position is terrible, they're track focused so they didn't have comfort in mind. Fine for short journeys but god forbid you need to use the motorway. Very Happy

Other than that, pretty decent bike Louise... Thumbs Up

Why does everyone mention comfort when referring to sportsbikes? If she wanted comfort, I'm sure she wudda got a fooking car.

Because the comfort on the Ninja is awful, My R6 had a nice soft seat at a decent angle, but the Ninja's forces you against the tank & the rock hard seat makes your arse ache.

Like i said, if i had to say something bad about it..

Another thing is the front end, it loves to lift on the slightest of bumps & you get a lot of head shakes, haven't had any bad ones but a damper would be good.

Remember watching an IOM test of the Fireblade, ZX10 and 2 others on TV, ZX10 was twitchy front end on any road bumps where there was real speed involved. Ride safe. Thumbs Up

I must have an odd shaped body as I've managed to soak up quite a few miles on it and have found it pretty comfy! Wink

Indeed you must, to think you went all the way to Scotland! Must just be my position then.

Best seat i've been on is Bandit.

I've just fitted an 07 shock with a zx10 linkage to mine. Not had a chance to try it properly yet but the couple of miles I did do felt alot better.

Ive ridden this exact bike countless times, ive ridden so many sportbikes from Ducati to Suzuki, and they arnt bad on comfort, try riding a Ducati or my RSVR then tell me its uncomfortable.

The only thing i can say is the suspention setting stock is pretty hard.

Well the confort side isnt too bad.
Getting sore wrists again but I knew that would happen.
Rode with the OH with her 125, after an hour of 30-40mph my wrists were dead sore Laughing

One thing tho, how do you men stop your tackle from getting battered Confused Its really not that good when it comes to bumps down below Rolling Eyes

You don't. The rear suspension is very hard.

Change the shock ( as I've just done after 3 years Rolling Eyes ) or get the original one set up for you.
